LODGING POLICIES

Hanover Hideaway is an exclusive property where every guest reservation is both important and special to us. To ensure you have a pleasant stay, we have established the following policies. Please take a moment to review our policies and feel free to contact us if you have any questions.

PEAK SEASON
Year 2024 = May 1st, 2024 thru November 3, 2024

Room Rates accommodate two people and include a full breakfast except when noted below. Rates are quoted per night excluding combined state, local and occupancy tax of 13%.

Reservations require a 50% deposit of entire stay including taxes. The balance of your bill will automatically be charged 7 days prior to your arrival. We accept MC, Visa, Discover and Amex. We do not accept personal checks.

If your travel plans change and you must cancel your reservation, please call us at least 8 (eight) days* prior to your arrival date to receive a refund of your deposit less applicabale fees. You will receive either a voucher for credit on a future visit or a return to your credit card on file. Applicable fees include: 1) a credit card processing fee of 6% of payments already made or a minimum of $10 and 2) the non-refundable Worry Fee Booking Fee if paid. If cancellation is 7 days or less you are responsible for the entire balance of your stay.

Rates/policies are subject to change and vary during high impact periods and special requests. *A 30-day cancellation notice is required on whole house bookings and for some holidays and special events. Whole house rentals must be paid in full 30 days in advance.

Check-in: 3:00 PM - 9:00 PM. If arriving outside of the check-in time, please call to make arrangements.

Check-out: 11:00 AM.
Out of respect for all guests staying in the home, we request Quiet Time from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m.
Also, in respect to our environment, linens and towels are changed after each guest checkout. Please advise the innkeepers if you require fresh linens or towels outside of this policy.

Absolutely No Smoking Inside; however there is a designated outdoor smoking area available. A $200 fee will be charged for smoke room cleaning. The B&B and its owners reserve the right to ask any guest to forfeit the remainder of their stay without reimbursement if this policy is not respected as it may become unsafe and/or disruptive to you and any of the guests staying at Hanover Hideaway.

We do not hold a license to sell or serve alcoholic beverages. Guests age 21 or older may bring their own, but for the safety and comfort of all of our guests, please drink responsibly. Hanover Hideaway and/or the owners will not be held responsible for any incidents involving alcohol. The B&B and its owners reserve the right to ask any guest to forfeit the remainder of their stay without reimbursement if conditions become unsafe or disruptive to any of the guests staying at Hanover Hideaway.

We know that your pet is a vital part of your family. Unfortunately we do not have accommodations for pets at this time. Please call for help in making arrangements to board your pet or if you have a service animal.

Special situations allow for children, please call to determine if arrangements can be made.

In the event of a pandemic or government shutdown, where forces outside our control prohibit your stay, you will receive a voucher for the amount of your reservation. The voucher is good for 2 years or whatever state or local laws require.

Hanover Hideaway is privately owned and operated. Management reserves the right to refuse service to anyone. We truly hope that your stay with us is stress free, relaxing and private. We will make every effort to insure a safe and enjoyable visit.


Any damages, stolen B&B items, or broken objects during the stay will be the full financial responsibility of the guest, including anyone traveling or visiting with the guest. Any special clean-up needed that was caused by the guest will be charged to the credit card. Charges may need to be applied after guest departure as deemed necessary by the owner. Please report all spills and/or damages to the owner promptly. Towel replacement cost is $25/per towel.

AUTO-COLLECT
At the time of booking, 50% of the reservation balance will be collected. Payment for all retail items and gift certificates will also be collected. Applies to: all reservations.


SCHEDULED DEPOSIT
7 days before arrival, 100% of the reservation balance will be collected. If a reservation is booked "last-minute" (within the scheduled time frame), the initial deposit will be collected in addition to the scheduled amount. Applies to: all reservations.


CHILDREN & PETS
Children are not allowed. Pets are not allowed.

CREDIT CARD SECURITY
Your credit card information is stored and processed securely.

Arrival Times are 3:00 PM - 9:00 PM. If arriving outside of check-in times, please call to make arrangements.

AUTO-COLLECT
A 50% deposit is collected at the time of booking. The remaining balance will be charged to the same credit card 7 days prior to arrival date. Payment for retail items and gift certificates is collected at the time of purchase.
